The Dolmabahce Palace is free for children aged 0-6, and you do not need to purchase a ticket. To receive a free ticket, you must present the child's passport to the authorized staff at the entrance. If the child's passport is not presented, a standard admission ticket must be purchased.

While there is no strict dress code, it’s recommended to wear comfortable shoes as there’s a lot of walking, and to dress modestly out of respect for the historical and cultural significance of the palace.

A visit typically takes around 2 to 3 hours, including the time to explore the Selamlik (main halls), Harem, and gardens.

Photography is permitted in the gardens, but it is restricted inside the main palace buildings to preserve the artifacts and interior decor.

Dolmabahce Palace is easily accessible via public transport. You can take the T1 tram line to Kabatas station, which is a short walk from the palace.

The palace is open from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday to Sunday. It is closed on Mondays and on the first day of religious holidays.
