• Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays
• Re-entry is not permitted once you leave the venues.
• Topkapi Palace is not a guided tour – you will meet only the host, who will escort you into the palace. Stay with the host until entry is completed.
• Participants need to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before the start time for Topkapi Palace
• Details for Hagia Sophia:
• Women: Avoid knee-length shorts, skirts, sleeveless or low-cut tops; partially cover hair with a scarf
• Men: Avoid knee-length shorts and sleeveless tops Scarves and appropriate clothing are available for purchase at the entrance
• Access is limited to the visiting area and upper gallery; this ticket does not include entry to the prayer area downstairs in Hagia Sophia Mosque
• Security checks are mandatory and cannot be skipped; during peak season, expect up to 30 minutes wait time at Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia
• Audio guide requires a working internet connection. Internet is limited in some museums. It can be downloaded in advance to use it offline.
